PURIM IN THE Shtetl 2026

Welcome to our little shtetl, where the Purim spirit is renowned and looked forward to all year round. In our village we have traditions for everything. How to eat, how to sleep, and even how to PARTY! You may ask, how did these traditions get started? I'll tell you. I don't know. But it's a tradition...!

Don’t miss this epic Purim experience!
- Megillah reading
- Purim feast that Tevye can only dream of
- Meet the shtetl farm animals with Indiana Wild
- Klezmer Music
- Pickle making workshop
- Lechaims at the tavern

Please come in character! Our Shtetl needs bakers, butchers, yentas, matchmakers, blacksmiths, water-carriers, a rich man, rabbi, shoemakers, musicians, a cantor, town meshugenner, local drunk, and a token "Ivan". Which would you like to be?
If you want to stay grounded in the present, we still welcome you.
